Area is 24m2 and length is 5 more than its width?

-The area of a rectangle is 24m2, the length must be 5 more than the width, i know the width is 3 and the length is 8 but what is the equation to work this out?8sq. m (L) x 3 sq. m (W)= 24 sq. m
