-I had enough of public school, I have a plan for homeschooling. I will be homeschooling for 2 years and i will go back to my high school for my senior year and take 4 to 5 classes and then i can take college classes at my state college. While i being homeschool online I'm allow to take sports or clubs at my original high school. I think this is a good idea, is there something i missing here, can this plan go wrong?Homeschooling is a right and legal in all 50 states and a perfectly viable educational option.
A couple of things you may consider
1) you don't need to go to high school senior year to go to college; all colleges accept homeschoolers.
2) Check with your local schools to see about the process for returning to school.
In my state, once you sign out to homeschool, you have to take a placement test if you go back to school. They are under no obligation to place you in the grade you "would have" been in; they place you where they think you belong.
This means when you return to become a senior, the school can decide you should be a junior and place you there. There are no guarantees, so check.
soign home schooling in most states requires someone be present to supervise the student. You as a student can't decide. it is the parents decision.
