Summer School question?

-So I'm a freshman in high school and I'm doing pretty bad in public school this semester. It is mainly because I have a health condition and I miss a lot of school. I have almost straight F's and D's with 7 more weeks of school. My goal is to get as many of those grades up to C's by the end of the year.



Next year I'm planning to be home schooled, so my question is. For the classes I fail (if I fail any), can I take the summer school classes at home?



Also, is home schooling fun (I'd like a kids perspective)
