Im in seventh grade and getting really bad grades will this affect me getting into a good colleget? thanks?

-No. They go by SAT scores and your High school average. And if you have a lower average at that time, you can always consider attending an inexpensive community (2 year), college after high school. Then you can just transfer to the higher rated universities from the community college because the higher rated universities will not look at anything other than your community college records, since they trump SAT's and high school records. So, there are several options available. Just do the best you can and seek extra help for the subjects you're struggling in. Good luck :)

I can speak from personal experience. 80's average in high school, poor SAT scores due to leaving the test early but a 4.0 GPA in college. Then I transferred to a State University and was accepted immediately. Now I have an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business management. So I can personally say that SAT scores and high school grading will not affect you if you attend a community college prior to joining a University. People get their G.E.D. at community colleges (though you don't get college credit for these classes)...so you can attend a community college even without a high school diploma so as to work toward your G.E.D.Thing is, your understanding and knowledge is cumulative. If you are getting bad grades in seventh grade because you don't understand the material ,you will get bad grades in eighth grade because you won't understand that either. And so on.



If you get some bad grades because you were ill or just had a random freakout on a test day, it's irrelevant. But you won't magically start understanding seventh grade material just because you get older.
Im in 11th grade. & no it won't the grades that they look at are from H.S. & the ones that matter the most are your jr year. So don't mess up as a Freshman in high school, cause trust me you will regret it.
