What is the Six Flags home school day like?

-I want to go but I have a few questions. If you`ve been that`d be awesome if you`d answer a few. Not all but as many as you can :)

1) How long, on average, are the lines?

2) Is it crowded?

3) There are two ticket choices: 18$ gets you in, and 25$ gets you in, plus a "buffet style" lunch (yeah idk what that is either lol). Which did you pay? I heard the 25$ one gives you a free come back ticket but idk about the 18$ one.

4) Since the park closes at 10pm, but the event is only from 10am-5pm, how does that work?

Thanks if you ccan answer ANY. I greatly appreciate all effforts :)When we went to the homeschool day it was really great. It was an exclusive event and the only others in the park were the Scouts. Lines were minimal.

Go for the $25 buffet. It food was good and it was all you can eat.

The come back ticket was only for the $25 ticket. makes the extra $$ even more worth it.

The even closing means that is when the vendors shut down. Dispersed through the park were homeschool vendors selling and demonstrating their curriculum. These close down at 5:00 pm but the park, rides and shows were opened until 10:00pm

It's always a great day for our family. We've been going to the homeschool day for probably 15 years.lines are like 100 feet long at the most, and that is pretty good if you think about how long they are on a normal day

its not AS crowded, and sometimes you can ride twice in a row because there is no line

go for the $25, six flags food is expensive and if you get it for an extra $7 then WIN for you

its a special day, thats why it closes early.
you will enjoy it, relax and enjoy the rides and go.
OMG!!!! Call the National Guard!!! Unsocialized homeschoolers out in public on rides with other kids!!!

How did they get out of their basements!!??

I'm kidding, of course.

We're nowhere near Six Flags but we go to TONS of homeschool days at the water park, amusement parks, art studios, the science center, the zoo, museums, zip-line tours, ski hills, the skate park, the BMX track and the roller rink. It's fantastic. There are little to no line-ups and we usually get a school group rate, so it's cheap. We don't usually get any "food included" deals around here. I'm a little skeeved out by buffets! We usually pack some water bottles, fruit, granola bars and such then buy a hot-dog and a drink wherever we are. Our homeschool group has become very large, as well, so it doesn't matter which activities we choose, there are lots of my kids' friends there.
